If i did do a backup to a local 'folder' and copied this folder over to any USB storage device, would this folder contain all the contents of my laptop's hard drive, or at-least, all the necessary 'root' OS sytems and settings, file & folders and programs? Will 'Deja-Dup' do the job i'm looking for?, and if backing-up to any kind of USB external HD is not possible, but only to a website storage, or a local folder. So i did some 'Google' searching, and found the info below using the simple backup software 'Deja-Dup'. I was thinking, that now i would like to 'backup' the entire contents(settings/OS and all) of laptops HD, preferably to an external USB hard drive, i have looked at the 'Clonezilla' LiveCD option, but feel it's still way above my understanding for now. I also have a very limited use of the 'terminal' code. Hello Members, i'm very much new to the Fedora 15 os, and i'm also using the Gnome 3 shell.
